Instructions for Authors – Submission of Abstracts and Voluntary Contributed Papers

The organizing committee is calling for contributed papers under each of the major themes of the 2013 Wheat Breeding Assembly:

1.         Adaption to the Australian Environment
2.         Biotic Challenges to Wheat Production
3.         Targeting End-Product Quality
4.         Innovations in Plant Breeding Technologies


Important Dates:

  • 1st of June 2013 – Authors advised of papers accepted as oral presentation
  • 17th of June 2013 – Deadline for submission of abstracts for poster presentations

Submission of abstracts

When preparing your abstract, please use the Word template and example Abstract. (also available on the downloads page).

Abstracts for poster presentations will be accepted until the 17th June 2013..

Your abstract should be submitted as attachment set as Word document to: WBA.Brisbane.Papers@gmail.com.

 Please nominate a WBA Brisbane 2013 theme for your paper.

Full papers no longer required

A number or presenters have indicated that they are unable to prepare a full paper for the proceedings of WBA Brisbane 2013.  
For this reason, the organising committee has decided that full papers will no longer be required.  We apologise for any inconvenience.  

Note: At least one author must be a registered participant at WBA Brisbane 2013, and a maximum of one poster paper will be accepted per participant.
